Mrs. Babigian and Mrs. Watson had their 8th grade students finished a community service project at their Religious Education class on October 17th at IAR. The student worked on Halloween Treat Bags for the children in DCF, who probably won't be going out for Trick-or-Treating. This service project was offered to all grade 8 students in class at the school or PTAH.The children earned money to buy the bags of candy, etc. so they got an understanding of sacrificial giving.
Dorothy Zyla, our Social Worker for Covenant to Care, will pick up the treats the weekend of October 23.
The 8th graders had a great time making the treat bags this week. They made 103 goodie bags in class and were delivered to the Church Hall today,
